City of Carlsbad 2021-2029 Housing Element Update

Mintier Harnish, working with Rincon Consultants, assisted the City of Carlsbad in the preparation of it Housing Element Update and General Plan Maintenance. Mintier Harnish managed the preparation of the Housing Element and interactions with HCD.

Mintier Harnish began work on the 6th Cycle Carlsbad Housing Element in February 2020. Mintier Harnish was responsible for the technical aspects of updating the housing element, including, but not limited to, the housing needs assessment, analysis of constraints, AFFH analysis, and sites selection identification and capacity analysis. The project also included attendance at public meetings (Planning Commission and City Council meetings) as well as coordination with HCD in the development of the Housing Element Update.
